Smile Stuff
Have you ever looked at someone who was giving you a half-baked attempt at a smile and you wanted
to say, "If you don’t mean it, just forget it!"
I really believe that smiles are meant to be made with your whole face, your eyes, your lips,
your mouth included. It shows you care, you are enthusiastic, you have a positive attitude, and
most importantly, you are trustworthy. It will help you connect easier and faster with your
customers.
So, let’s have a little fun! Here’s how to smile with your whole face. First, stand in front
of a mirror. Second, warm up by moving your lips back and forth as if you are kissing a roomful
of people, and doing it fast . . .until it burns. Third, raise your eyebrows and smile with your
mouth at the same time. As you do this exercise, I would venture to say you’re laughing and
smiling at the same time.
Those of you who do not want to do this exercise probably need to do it the most.
