About RuthKay Petersen
RuthKay is an international awarding-winning speaker, trainer and author. She has been
motivating and entertaining people at conferences and conventions for over twenty years.
Through her popular keynote presentations on laughter, change, the rewards of making
positive choices plus her customer service programs, she has brought her entertaining
messages to more than 1,900 audiences worldwide.
Based on a lifetime of trials and tribulations, RuthKay learned to rely on her strong
sense of humor. In turn she inspires others to lighten up when faced with tough situations.
She believes, "Humor works so well to keep motivation high in our up and down world that
it has become an essential element for success." Through tears and laughter people
everywhere embrace her ideas to become more productive in all areas of their lives.
RuthKay is a former banker and understands the business environment. From her experiences,
she shares with her audiences the importance of meeting human needs in business. "Treat
everyone as if they have a broken heart" is one the many messages she includes in her
popular customer service program, Beyond the Second Mile – Winning and Keeping Customers.
She also helps people smooth out the wrinkles of life in her fun and inspiring book,
Anatomy of a Wrinkle. Her articles on How to Stay Motivated in a Changing World and
How to Add Laughter to Your Sales Success have appeared in national and international
publications.
RuthKay received the Services' Champion Award for her World Class Customer Service
Training at the United States Air Force Academy. She also received a special award
of recognition for her outstanding presentation, How to Super Charge Your Teams,
for the soldiers at the BOSS Seminar at Camp Humphreys in Pyongtaek, South Korea.
